#commercials

Ah, the bogus takedown. The latest is that apparently the NFL somehow and for some reason took down Chrysler's Clint Eastwood Super Bowl commercial from YouTube. Pretty much every advertiser put up their commercials on YouTube, and it's unclear why or how the NFL might claim any sort of copyright on any of those ads. But, for some time that's exactly what happened, making Chrysler's own website promoting the ad look pretty silly:

"Because I don’t have cable I missed that horrifically awful Dodge commercial (your auto bailout tax dollars at work!)."

"Envious of the Gecko's boss? You've seen the commercial, now you can have his "worst" ringtone, a snappy sounding ringity-ding-ding-dingy-dong, on your phone. Download the ringtone below. "

I've had this song from the Mercenaries 2 commercial stuck in my head for a week or so now. I suppose it could be worse, but I'm not sure how.

"Funny commercial by Dunkin Donuts. I love coffee, it's great, but for the love of God, why must I need training to understand a menu?"

"This list is a list of what I consider to be among the best video game commercials."

"Its just like...a mini mall!"

"Games may have come a long, long way since the 80’s… but the game commercials today just suck compared to this. People just don’t know how to sell a video game these days."

"It seems so wholesome…until the end."

"A suprisingly inventiveand funny commercial that’s inspired heavily by Grand Theft Auto. It certainly appeals to a specific demographic, since most non-gamers would completely miss the point."

"Is this what happen to people who play to much Zelda?"

"MacGyver is back and armed with an air freshener, a tube sock, paper clips, rubber bands and a few other odds and ends." Pretty nifty, this.

"There was a MacGyver MasterCard commercial on the Super Bowl right now."

Great deodorant commercial. Everyone's Bruce Willis.

"Alright, Janice!" Old SmartBeep blind date commercial.
