Engineers repurpose a mosquito proboscis to create a 3D printing nozzle
The team tested their "bio-nozzle" by building a custom 3D printer, called a 3D necroprinter. They mounted the mosquito proboscis on a standard dispensing tip and used it to deposit specialized bioinks.
