Scripting News: Friday, November 29, 2024

I want to add an important feature to podcasting that can only work with RSS, it can’t work with Spotify, Google, Audible etc. The idea is subscribing to subscription lists, which the influencers are likely to really love because they can create networks of podcasts. And when they want to edit the list, if this is done right, the users will automatically be updated.

Tags: #opml #podcasts #rss #web

HowTo: The Instant Outline Tool

"The Instant Outline Tool for the OPML Editor allows a group of people to communicate using an outline to reflect each person's status. You have two windows -- one where you edit your outline, and the other where you view the outlines of all your buddies, the members of your workgroup."

Tags: #friendfeed #instantoutliner #io #opml #outlines

"After discussing the idea of an expanded attribute for outline elements, I got a key new piece of information -- in some applications there is no distinction between a file format and an application's internal data structures."

Tags: #javascript #opml #webdev #xslt
